A short, subtidal rift tunnel running ENE/WSW through the neck of a fairly substantial promontory on the north part of Leac Langh.

Notes: Access: by sea - W from Kirtomy harbour or E from Farr beach or Skerray harbour.

Length from NGRs. Other dimensions measured 13/8/26 by N Feilden. Altitude is ACD.

1st Ed OS 6 in shows dashed lines for a tunnel and - rather surprisingly 'cave'. Current 1 in OS has the dashed lines and hires layers have 'cave'.
Photo 1 looking WSW through the arch/tunnel on 13/8/26 when the tide level was about 3.5 m ACD. The smaller entrance on the right (N) is also a tunnel which goes parallel to this one and then comes out of the right wall of this tunnel a little beyond this tunnel's far (WSW) entrance. This photo gives a good idea of the Bettyhill Formation cleavage planes dipping at roughly 45 - 50 degrees ENE.
