Remains of shallow quarry within woodland. Overgrown, but well-exposed outcrops of pale siliceous calcrete (limestone), some exposures 2m thick. No subsurface features.
19th century lime kilns were formerly located NE at [NJ 2139 6087] which served an additional limestone quarry centred on [NJ 2148 6093], both sites now occupied by the golf course.
