Mine (Coal) early- to mid-20th cent.
Site of now-buried mine mouth. This accessed a SE-directed inclined adit to workings in the Dunfermline Splint Coal contiguous with those worked from Dean Colliery Shaft No.1 (located 0.7km NW at [NT 12208 90837]).
