Mine (Coal), pre-1840.
Shaft to Alloa Cherry Coal (encountered at 14 fathoms [26m]) and a small-scale area of workings in the Alloa Splint Coal, contiguous with those of No.10 Pit [site #11145] & ultimately the more central Fly Pit to the SE. A roadway from the No.11 longwall workings led S to an air shaft [site #11147].
Alternative Names: None recorded.
Notes: No. 11 Pit with depth to A.CH coal marked on Geological Survey map.
