Mine (Coal), 19th cent.

Old Shaft marked on Geological Survey map. Sunk 240ft to Coalsnaughton Main Coal, shaft now treated/capped & buried below rough grassland. Mine plans show that both the Alloa Splint & Cherry Coal was worked at this locality.
