Mine (Coal), 20th cent.
Site of two adjacent & treated/sealed drift mine mouths which accessed parallel roadways from which there were workings in the Five Foot & Knockshinnock Coal seams. This drift mine post-dated adjacent opencast workings. See mine plans (in refs) for layout. Mine was abandoned in 1994.
