An intertidal, near vertical rift seacave at the southern end of the geo.
[This is the middle sized of 3 caves in the geo - but N Feilden is unsure of the relation between this and the other two as he did not make a sketch or measure tunnel directions on 12/8/26 when the photos were taken.]
The name appears on OS maps as early as 1873.
A pretty large creek, about 1/2 a mile south from Kirtomy Point. Signification: Cave or Creek of the Anchor. [OS Namebook]
Alternative Names: None recorded.
Notes: Access: by sea eg NE from Kirtomy Harbour or E from Skerray Harbour further off.
Length is a guesstimate, vertical range at entrance and altitude (ACD) are visual estimates.
