Sinkhole at the south end of an intermittently flowing stream bed at the base of Conival. Consists of a small rock face on the south side of the depression.
Lying to the northeast of Cuil Dhubh, an active stream flows down an obvious streambed before reaching the sink depression. On the south side, a small excavated rock face reveals a low opening about 2.5 m wide and 0.5 m high. A low pebble-strewn void leads off to the right for 2 m while on the left, a small slightly down-sloping bedding plane quickly becomes too tight. There is a good draught and this, combined with a drop of 50 m of altitude to Cuil Dubh Sink may offer some incentive to further work..
