Cave marked on OS maps.

- - -

3 m wide, 1 m high entrance. Access easy.

This cave is on the same alignment as the rock tunnel [to the north] and can be approached through the tunnel or by descending the narrow ravine it sits in. The first half of the cave is a steep scree descent with nothing much to see. [Caves of Islay]

Alternative Names: Mala Bholsa (1)

Notes: The name 'Continuation Cave' comes from Graham Little, 2026. It refers to the cave being a continuation of the natural arch [Natural Arch (5(N & S))] on the north side of the gully which extends 27 m through the quartzite promontory.

As the gully extends to the raised beach at the northwest end of the promontory, what stops access from below/seaward?
