This small cave may be found by walking upstream from Cuil Dhubh Sink to a left-hand fork in the river. The entrance lies 100 m upstream of this junction. It is a low arch at the foot of a hillock, from which issues a small flow of water. Under normal conditions, a duck in about 0.5 m runs for 1 m, after which the roof rises rapidly into the main part of the cave, consisting of a roomy chamber about 5 m square and the same in height. The continuation upstream is an impenetrable fissure opposite the entrance. An aven on the right hand side of the chamber was proved to have a faint aural connection with the surface, but no effort has been made to dig it out.
