Alternative Names: Stroimneis (Uamh), Stremneis (Uamh), Streneis (Uamh), Strevneis (Uamh), Smuggler's Cave

Notes: I have spotted Stromneis, pronounced Stremneis and sometimes Streneis. The first e pronounced like e in hen. It is almost at the point of the Mull of Oa. You should find it in one of the Ordnance Survey maps. There is a Stremneis Mor and a Stremneis Beg. I have been trying to get the traditions about the latter, but the only information I have got is, that in a cave quite near it or on it smugglers used to have a small still. It is sometimes called Strevneis. Macnab was the name of the oldest remembered tenants. They cured King's Evil."
