Cave. The Vat is a giant pothole, created in the bed of a melt water stream. Now the water is usually less than ankle deep. A tiny cave lies behind the waterfall, where Gilderoy MacGregor, sheep-stealer and outlaw, hid from government forces. You can duck under the waterfall and into a small cave. But be warned - you will get wet and the water is cold, even in summer!
