About 50 m downstream from ANUSC, 15 m southeast of UNCABAC and at top of steep gravel slope in the south bank is a rock step. Below this (above a small rocky ledge beside a stunted and gnarly tree) a low wide opening is just high enough to allow entry into a 4 m by 3 m chamber. This chamber slopes down into the hillside and has a maximum height of 1.5 m.
The entrance appeared choked, by a possible cliff collapse. with no enterable holes (21/2/14). Although no further work has been done on After Dinner Hole, Uamh nan (UNCABAC) in the streambed 8-10 m below has been dug to a length of 86 m and wraps around After Dinner Hole. In 2022, another hole opened up in the slope below After Dinner Hole which may with some digging provide an alternative entrance to UNCABAC.
Alternative Names: Latha na Dinneir (Uamh), Deidh Dinnear (Toll an)
Notes: Discovered by GSG in 1976 (after an annual dinner).
The Allt nan Uamh Valley is part of the Ben More Assynt Site of Special Scientific Interest.
