A wide mouthed intertidal cave with a stumpy pillar on E side of main entrance with a smaller second entrance on its E side. The W entrance is 20.8 m wide while the E entrance is 11.8 m wide and floor to ceiling 3 m. Faces about NW by N. It is 22.8 m from front to back in the main entrance - the rest being the passage on the E side of the pillar.
Although obvious from the sea (looking in SE quadrant), it cannot be seen from the land.
Alternate Names: None recorded.
Notes: Access: At low tide: from Cummingston Seaview Rd carpark, go down to the old railway line (tarmac'd), follow it left under a bridge and then for about 200m until the cutting drops away to a beach. Go down to beach and then E. It is necessary go go round a headland before you can see it.
VR is an estimate as it got missed out on 27/2/22 when the other dimensions were measured.
