• 1st Ed OS 25in has 'cove' near the above NGR - about half way up the west facing side of St Abb's Head.

Scottish Natural Heritage Commissioned Report No. 069 (ROAME No. F02AA409). Appendix 1 pA2 gives a location NT 90780 69270 ERT 1997 site 6 'W facing cave in cliff'. This is 21 m N of the above location and in same cliff.
• Photo 1 by Walter Baxter of two cave entrances, side by side and intertidal which may be this cave even though Baxter has it located 150 m further north. His cave location does not appear to have a possible cliff nearby when examined on aerial. It is not clear from this photo whether there are two caves or one cave with two entrances which merge inside.
