Large entrance and a wide passage ~60m long. A blow hole exists at the back from which blasts out spray and smell of decaying seaweed as the swell rises. Bedrock and boulder floor throughout, approx 5m water depth. [SNH Report 102: Cave inventory p 124]
Alternative Names: North Lungie Geo cave, blowhole cave
Notes: SNH Report 102 has HU 15372 60291 as the entrance location. However this plots a little way W and offshore on Canmore Aerial - so it may be that this location is where the dive boat was moored while the cave was swum into.
Altitude is ACD. VR is a guesstimate.
