Limestone Mines and Kilns at Darluith.
An old coal pit is also present to the NW of the limeworks (at NS 4194 6500). This is now buried below the edge of a worked field at the NW side of the junction between Barochan Rd (B789) & Craigends Rd. This pit reached the Hurlet Coal at a depth of 73m.
