*cave (Sandend E 3)

A raised beach rift cave in the end of the N side of an inlet. First 5.6 m faces 357, then 006 for 3.3 m then back to N to end. Width at entrance 4.2 m.

Visible from sea looking due S - see photo 1. A landing may be possible at high water.

Photo 4 there was a spider in the middle of its orb web in the passage just after the rock of photo 3. Probably meta menardi or cave spider.
Photo 5 looking into the end of the cave.
Photo 6 the view (plus infill lighting) from about 11m in, N and out of the entrance. The milky colour on the rock to the right is thought to be from dried out white bacterial crust. There were sparkling bits of this higher up.
