Tunnel under the entrance to James Watt Dock which previously allowed access to both sides of the dock entrance without a tedious journey around the dock for operators of the lifting bridge which spanned the entrance. The access stair to south has been infilled and the surface structure removed. Similar structure on north side survives although the pitched glass roof has been replaced with a flat roofing felt roof.
Alternative Names: None recorded.
Notes: The lifting bridge on the surface has been removed and there is no access to tunnel which may have been infilled.
