McKilvies [or McKelvie's] Cove or Cave - About 10 chains [200 m] Southeast of Ramp Holes. A small Cave in the face of a precipitous Shore close to high water mark. A man of the name of McKelvie held a piece of land convenient to it. The best mode of spelling the name is McKelvie.

McKelvie's Cave [NX 02221 51473] is estimated from the 25" OS map of 1894 to be 75 links [15 m] long and 25 links [5 m] wide.
