An upper intertidal sea-cave with large blocks in front. Just 27m E of Hell's Lum, but 15m or so lower. You cannot see to the end except from very close because the axis changes from 020 (NNE) to start with, then 341 (NNW). The entrance is 9.7 m wide. There are some speleothems, but they are old and somewhat corroded. A large pool remains after the tide has dropped. Large rounded boulders inside - very slippery. A 2.7m horizontal-ish fissure on W side at rear. Some fine - and extremely slippery - growths inside helped by fresh water seepage.

Alternate Names: None recorded.

Notes: Access: by land in bottom 1/3 of tide. Requires wading deeper than wellies.

The BGS overlay shows metamorphosed igneous rock (amphibolite and hornblende schist) nearby.
