Two rifts lean quite steeply towards each other to make a nearly equilateral triangle (= ^ or A) on the cliff face. A subtidal tunnel goes in at the bottom of each, with a passage through the wave-cut platform, and there is a tunnel inside, parallel to the cliff face, which joins them. The left (E) entrance is much wider, but that tunnel stops ca 10m in. The right (W) tunnel goes on another 10m or so, ending in a rock pile. However the ceiling looks as if the tunnel might continue beyond the pile. The right entrance is not navigable near low tide as it is blocked by a boulder, Near HW it is very narrow, but the boulder is submerged. A through passage was made on 11/8/21 from L (E) to R in the afternoon when the tide level was about 3.6m ACD. There was just room to turn a 5.5 m kayak to come out of the R entrance.
Alternate Names: None recorded.
Notes: Access: by sea E from Pennan or W from Aberdour beach
