In moderately wet conditions when Sinks 1 & 2 do not take all the water flow a small amount of the stream flow disappears down a sink immediately above and to the east of the waterfall above Lower Traligill Cave. In flood conditions this sumps and is lost in the flow over the waterfall.
This has been investigated by diverting the waterflow and on extremely dry occasions pulling rocks out along the face of the ridge forming the falls.
Alternate Names: None recorded.
Notes: The south wall is solid bedrock but the northside of the dig is loose boulders. The unstable north wall makes digging awkward and this is only possible in extremely dry conditions.
There is no known connection to the lower streamway so the connection must be below the known cave.
