There was also a narrow vertical fissure the other side of the track ie west of Paper Cave. Pre-GPS no NGRs were taken. That fissure was almost bridged by heather covered in snow where we fed three (or was it four?) 30ft ladders down it and I squeezed my way almost to the bottom. I think it was wider further (south?) along the hillside. Ivan Young's 2023 recollection of his 1979 visit.
