In June 2023, a local farmer erecting a cattle shed cleared rubble with a JCB to reveal a gaping hole leading to an enticing arched pool chamber. The 4 x 10 m pool was dived by Simon Brooks in October 2023 to a low blocked sump. When the rocks were cleared a second flooded chamber containing a thick sediment cone and overlying air bell was found. [Alan Jeffreys]
