Secondary Ice-house, 18th century.
Open fronted vaulted chamber considered to be temporary ice store (also described as a garage). Location adjacent to access road and cut into the bank to the north, with only a thin covering of earth above, suggest would only have been effective as a temporary store.
Large barrel vaulted ice house set into bank to NE of N pavilion of main house. Dressed sandstone facings; double brick vault, formerly plaster lined. [Addyman]
Alternative Names: None recorded.
