Cave marked on OS map at the north end of the long, narrow Geo NW of Leacan Oir. Connects to Wester Whale Geo [ND 31942 39937].
A piece of projecting flat rock, at the entrance to a narrow creek, having communication with Wester Whaligoe by means of a subterraneous passage through which the tide flows. "The [gold] Slab". [ScotlandsPlaces]
Alternative Names: None recorded.
Notes: Leacan Oir - golden flagstones (literally 'flat rocks of gold'). Translation as The (Gold) Slab is dubious (that would be An Leac Oir).
