Electric cable subway (earliest 20th Century). 8-ft high by 4ft-8ins wide.

Constructed as part of the Dee Village Electricity Works [on Millburn St]. Designed to supply electricity to key areas without either unsightly overhead cables or digging up of the Streets. Runs from the Dee Electricity Works via, Crown Street, Langstane Place, Hardgate, Justice Mill Lane to Holburn Street, a total distance of 1,500-yds. It has been Designed to carry some 56-Cables supported on Cast-Iron Racks. [Doric Columns]

W extremity marked on surface by an obvious Art Nouveau exhaust air ventilator at a traffic island where Justice Mill Lane meets Holburn Street.
