A cave extending about 25 yards beneath the Ground. It is entered by a small fissure in the rock and is very difficult to get into. [OS Namebook]

Whilst the OS Namebook specifically states that the name relates to a cave, Milne (1912) claims that 'New Found Aisle' refers to a hill (derived from 'Naomh Fin Al' meaning 'sacred hill').
