Sea cave at the foot of the coastal slope below steep cliffs, marked on OS 10 k background mapping.

Notes: The name Geug-sgorr is related to either the cliff or the coastal slope and may translate as 'branch-like sharp peak'.
Gèug-sgòr - Applies to a precipice on the north Coast of Canna, on the north side of Beinn a' Gheug-sgòr, & a short distance north west of Càrn a' Ghaill. Signification - "Sharp rock of the Nymph". [ScotlandsPlaces]
The coastal slope may represent talus (erosion from the cliffs) resting on a raised beach. The caves at the shore line are in the current low rocky coast.
