The Book of Lismore (written in Lismore, Ireland in the 15th century) retells the 7th century hagiography of St. Brigit. No known association with the island of the same name.

Reference is most often made to An Dun, Sloc A Bhrighide as the remains of a neo-lithic fort near Sloc a Bhrighide on Lismore recorded by RCHAMS (Canmore ID 22658).
