Labelled as 'Exhibition Pit Coal Limestone & Alum' on 1st Ed. OS 6" & 25" maps. Location of shaft annotated with 'Site of Exhibition Pit 33 fms [60m] to Hurlet Coal' on geol. survey map. Absent from 1897 ed.
