Mine (Ironstone / Bauxitic Clay).
Short Ironstone mine adit along the W bank of the Lugton Water, later developed as part of the Seven Acres Mill Bauxite Mine (to the W).
Alternative Names: Sevenacres Ironstone Mine
Notes: Mine mouth marked on geol. survey map as "old mine into ironstone", the ironstone being 4' to 5' thick and bauxitic clay 6' thick. This is consistent with the mouth shown on the Abandon' plan.
