Tunnel, Hydro scheme (1930s).
Links Loch Ericht and Loch Garry, and is part of the "Tummel Garry Hydro Scheme". The original Tummel-Garry Hydro-Electric Scheme was constructed between 1928 and 1933 by the Grampian Electricity Supply Company, before the formation of the North of Scotland Hydro-Electric Board which came later in 1943. The scheme was designed to harness water from the River Tummel and River Garry catchments in Highland Perthshire. [Am Baile]
