Tunnel, Hydro electric scheme.

Water diversion tunnel (10ft B.W., invert only lined), part of the Breadalbane Hydro Scheme. A dammed pool along the River Almond diverts waters into a tunnel mouth in its S bank. This linear, SW-trending tunnel extends to an outfall on the NE bank of (Loch) Lednock Reservoir at [NN 7279 2909], through the intervening mountain mass of Càrn Buidhe / Creag na h-Iolaire.
