Tunnel, Hydro electric scheme.
Water diversion tunnel through bedrock (7ft wide, only invert lined), channelling waters of the Allt Coire Bheilg WSW to a dammed pool along the River Almond at [NN 7579 3339]. These waters then pass into the Almond Tunnel on the opposite side of this pool to eventually feed Lednock Reservoir (& ultimately St Fillans Power Station via the Lednock Tunnel).
