Tunnel, Hydro-electric scheme.

Water diversion tunnel essentially contouring the S slopes of Beinn Ghlas / Ben Lawers, transporting water from the given coordinates to the SE bank of Lochan na Lairige reservoir at [NN 60119 39307], near Lawers Dam. The E side of the tunnel is linked to an aqueduct.

Alternate Names: None recorded.

Notes: Part of the Breadalbane Hydro Scheme. Intakes / sluices along route of tunnel located at Burn of Edramucky [NN 61279 38706, alt. 541m], & Allt Coire a' Chonnaidh [NN 62655 38684]. A number of intakes associated with the aqueduct, which is shallow-buried & visible on satellite imagery, are located along the hillside to E of given coordinates.
