Void below large boulder set into talus slope at the base of a rock crag (seen from boat).
Forestry track from Ardentinny/Stronvochlan to shore of Loch Long NE of Knap or walking trail SE from Carrick Castle. Access to shore a Toll a' Bhuic and along rocks at low tide to about 100 m south of power lines. At high tide access along shore above high watermark is covered in dense bushes.
Alternate Names: None recorded.
Notes: A sherd from a 13th or 14th century jug was found in a small boulder cave Toll a' Bhuic [NS 21200 91720], near Ardentinny. Midden refuse was plentiful in the cave, but other caves on the site showed no sign of habitation. The cave is situated in a wild country and was probably only a temporary habitation. [Kirby]
