Mine & Quarry (Ironstone), mid-19th c.
Mine was located at given coordinates, whilst quarries which also worked ironstone were located c. 150m to the SW. Site of mine mouth now situated amongst forestry plantation, whilst quarry appears infilled in area of open ground. A shaft probably associated with this mine is marked on the OS 10k map at [NS 52192 11083].
