Titwood Pit (Coal), 35 fathoms to gas coal marked on Geological Survey map.

Notes: In 1870 Titwood Pit was on the outskirts Shawlands close to the boundary with Crossmyloof. Housing has since expanded across the whole area and there may have been boundary changes.
