Notes: Not mentioned in Graham Little's 'The Caves of Islay' so possibly small size.
The placename Carraig an Daimh means 'Rock of the Stag' and appears on the earliest OS maps (c. 1878). Daimh can also mean Bull or Ox but Stag is a better fit in this context.
