A generic reference to the caves of the Stack of Brough (locally known as Scorrie Island).
There is really only one cave a subterranean passage/natural arch running 153 m from the ENE to the WSW of the island. Near the middle of this tunnel a slightly angled shaft rises 35 m to the top of the island letting daylight into the middle of the tunnel.
