Tunnel in the bank of the River Devon.
Probably an ironstone (or limestone / clay) mine, which Geol. Survey map indicates are present around this locality.
Alternative Names: None recorded.
Notes: No tunnel at given coordinates (6 fig. NGR).
The original reference probably came from Jim Salvona and the coordinates were vague. Jim described it as a hole in the bank of the river and probably a mine so it is likely this was a reference to the nearby ironstone mine.
