• Geograph photo 1, 2021 shows the view looking SW by W along the gloup which is mostly in shadow.
• Geograph photo 2, 2013 looks down into the bottom and shows the north entrance of the arch/tunnel. Is there a second tunnel running SW by W ? If the gloup is collapsed sea cave, then this would make a lot of sense - given the line of the gloup and the channel which appears (on the aerial below) to go past the N side of the stack (of Russellore).
