Site within grounds of 59 Cornalee Road at SE end of Haugh Hill, according to MRA map location.
"Haugh Pit: An Ironstone pit the property of Sir James Maxwell in the Occupation of Mr John Wilson" [OS Namebook]. This Namebook also states that the Haugh Limeworks were also in the occupation of John Wilson.
