Boulder Cave.
Peden's Cave at Craigie [NS 4259/3255], when last seen consisted of two inclined boulders forming an entirely fortuitous shelter. The steeply sloping site at Craigie is now covered in dense gorse. A site at Camp Castle to the northeast is described either as a dun or a broch and a site to the east appears to be a hill fort.
Alternative Names: None recorded.
Notes: This cave is marked on the 2 ½" O.S. sheet approximately 1 mile South of Kilmarnock.
