South or upstream entrance to the Kill Burn Culvert.
The stream was culverted from the waterfall by Dryden Mains to the junction with the Bilston Burn when the deep limestone gorge of Bilston Glen was filled with spoil from Bilston Glen Colliery.

Notes: The Battle of Roslin, took place in the area now covered by the Bilston Glen spoil in 1303
