A subtidal rift cave running 192 (S by W) from the SSW corner of a triangular pool (see Access below and the plan). The entrance was 3.5 m wide at a tide level of 3.2 m ACD, but looked as if it would be wider at a lower tide.

Alternative Names: None recorded.

Notes: Access: by sea S from Port Errol, Cruden Bay or N from Collieston, in very low swell.

There is an inlet entry at NK 07611 32287 leading to an approximately right angle triangle plan pool. This pool has short sides about 9m and 10m. The S most 10 m side runs about 243 (W by S). There is a medium subtidal cave (1) near the S corner and a tall but short cave in the NNW corner (2). Neither of these are visible as you approach the pool. There is room to turn a 5.5 m kayak quite comfortably.

It may be possible to see the entrance from the cliff above.

Entrance measurements taken by N Feilden on 22 June 23; length was a rough, visual estimate from near the entrance.
