An upper intertidal rift cave facing NW. The rift leans about 35 degrees left (E) on the E side and a bit less on the right. It is 5.7 m wide for 9.6 m and continues much narrower on the right (W) side for 14.2 m and then extends narrowly for a further 2.4 m. The main tunnel is thus 26.2 m long and there are a couple of triangular plan alcoves 3.4 m long near the entrance and 1.3 m long a bit further in.

Notes: Access: from Strathy cemetry over the dunes to the east side of the beach. This is the 1st cave you come to.
