Railway tunnel (19th or 20th Century), disused.
Tunnel route doubles back on itself by almost 180 degrees. Often flooded within.
The well-exposed open northern portal can be found at NS 61725 66952. The now-blocked southern portal was located at approx. NS 6196 6672.

Notes: Operational from 1902 - 1962, part of the LNER Provan Gas Works Branch.
Given coordinates are for the more northerly of the two west-facing portals.
Not to be confused with the nearby 'Blind Tunnel' where Darnick St passes beneath the Glasgow - Cumbernauld railway line.
